Kids spend majority of their time by playing. It’s one way that kids learn to socialize and compete. Many a times the computer and online games become more than games to them and they start getting addicted.
Addiction to online games is a real and increasing problem. Most of the games comes in various levels and demands multiuser facility, they even have an IM or chat rooms in them. Kids once they enter this online gaming world find it difficult to come out of it and they tend to forget their other responsibilities.
Apart from addiction there are other problems like chances of kids being exposed to predators through chatting. They start losing interest in studies and they suffer poor grades in school. There are cases where teenagers are becoming reckless and many dropping out of school to play games. This is not exclusively limited to kids but may extend to adults also which leads to losing responsibilities and family.
